A little weekend adventure in Sydney. ✨
I recently jetted off to Sydney for a little weekend break, staying at The Arts Hotel, right in the heart of Paddington. I instantly fell in love with the area - all of the old buildings, and the artsy scene grabbed me - and the book shops, so many amazing old book shops!
I only had one day to explore, with another spent working and attending a history talk at The University of Sydney, presented by Dr Zahi Hawass. The talk was incredible - a run down of important archaeological discoveries in Egypt at the moment, mainly focusing on the new testing in Tutankhamun's tomb, and findings that may lead to the discovery of Antony and Cleopatra's tomb. Dr Hawass is a bit of a rockstar in the Egyptian Archaeology world, so meeting him was such an honour - I've been watching his documentaries since I was little!
